In 2000, the Cross Enterprises, Detroit, MI, claimed a world record concrete pour on a tunnel foundation mat at the Detroit Metropolitan Airport. The nonstop overnight effort by a fleet of Schwing concrete pumps saw 20,917 cubic yards placed in just under 23 hours.
